Bonus things!

Shortcake's mom is currently in Nicaragua learning Spanish.  She sent this description of the St. Nick Day celebrations: "Had a pinata for St Nick day with my family.  After it was broken, the kids used it for costumes, and the adults played hot potato with the head."

And Shortcake's friends came to visit Santa!  Sadly, Shortcake had forgotten they were coming, so she had left by the time they arrived (Bad Shortcake!  Silly Shortcake!  This is why we put things in calendars!).  But they kindly sent her a photo anyway.
